In today's meeting, IBA has improved their initial offer from 5% to 9.5% on pay slip cost and to hold next round of talks on 27.01.2014. In view of this UFBU decides to defer the strike on 20th & 21st Jan, 2014. Detailed circular follows....BSR/VENU
Today talks between IBA and Union on Xth Bipartite Settlement. The Outcome of today's meeting will decide whether to continue or postpone the 48 Hour Strike call given by 9 Unions under the umbrella of UFBU. In today's conciliation meeting CLC advised the IBA to call the Unions for negotiations immediately and conduct the meetings fortnightly on regular basis to finalise wage revision at the earliest. IBA offered to hold the meeting on 17th Jan, 2014. UFBU said it would attend the meeting with open mind.
